Ryker Splash Guards

Has anyone bought a new Ryker with the splash guards, or installed them on their Ryker? I understand that splashing of water onto the rider's feet was one potential problem with the Ryker and just wanted to see if this actually addresses that issue.

I have the rally model and have not added the splash guards. My observation on wet roads is that the fenders and standard equipment wings on them do a very good job of controlling splash. At this point I see no need to add the separate splash guards; at least for me.
