Default 2020 RTL Manual out yet???

    Hi everyone,

I’m curious to see the new 2020 operator guide. Is there any of our dealer friends have a hold of it yet?? I didn’t see it in web yet thought i’d Ask.

I’m curious to see what has changed to how the oil change is done. There was zero mention on the reveal videos. Since a lot of the redesign came from the customer experiences. I’d expect that maybe that was addressed

    thanks

Not online yet. Based on the editorial mess they made of the 2014 RT operator's guide it would be in the best interest of all future 2020 RT owners to let BRP take it's time getting the new manual out. Since it will be powered by the Rotax 1330 ACE engine I would seriously doubt there will be any difference in oil change procedures other than some Tupperware removal because of the body redesign.

    Yes it is http://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/I...b-c2ab361dbead

Then in the upper left click on "select one", choose Roadster and then Spyder RT 2020

Looks like the big change is having to move the brake master cylinder out of the way to change the oil filter. Must have been some major changes under the panels.

Yes you beat me to the same post. The removal of panels seems to limited to one only and zero screws to remove. Just on the tab system and a swift tug should do the trick. And yes from the pics and text it seems that the brake master cylinder does need to “moved” to one side. Or as they word it “rearward”.

Underneath the bike though it looks like the drain plugs are in the normal positions. The main drain plug might have the same issue with residual oil dripping into plastic towards the front of the bike. It’s hard for me to make out in the picture...but it appears they haven’t addressed the “stuffing of a rag” in there to prevent this. The magnetic drain plug appears to be clear of this. Again at least in the picture.

Please post if you find the complete service and repair manual. I contacted the "Green Manual" folks and they say the are waiting for some of the sections to be completed. He said he will let me know as soon as it's available. I'll post notice here when I hear from him.

I have to do that now on our F3's, and since the new RT is based off an F3 design I am not surprised that it's the same.

If I can ask, how easy is it to move the master cylinder in the f3's?

Very easy. There is a clip that you unclip and then you just move the master cylinder out of the way. You do not remove the cylinder only move it so the filter cover can be pulled out.

And I see a top clip that goes over it and it appears that that allows me to check fluid, so I assume there is a different clip you are telling me about?

Yes the clip holds it onto the bracket.
