Very interesting. Magpies were one of the main birds in Alaska. Never seen them go on attack mode though.
When I lived in Duluth, MN, Seagulls down by the waterfront were on the nasty side. Anyone coming out of a fast food place with a bag, was fair game.
When we went wilderness camping, we always put fish guts on a rock a bit out in the lake. In less than five minutes the gulls would come and clean up the mess. Quick and easy way to clean up fish entrails.
