    Default OEM Trailer Wiring Plug

Hello I have a 2016 RT Limited with the OEM square trailer plug under left saddle bag, I’d like to swap it out to a 4 flat. I’ve searched and can’t find anything on how it’s wired up. Does anyone have install instructions. I made a jumper harness already to adapt the 4 square to 4 flat. Looking to redo over the long NY winter. Thanks much For your help.

If you have a multimeter hook up the black probe to ground (any bolt,or nut on the Spyder frame) and turn on the right turn signal with the meter set at 20v place the red probe into the plug to see which one is that turn signal. Do the same for the left, and the brake. The remaining one is the ground.

That's what I did. Spliced the new connector, insulated the wires, covered them all with heat-shrink. It actually looks like I knew what I was doing.

Why not just leave it as is with the jumper you made?

Also the module is most likely under the plastic for the left saddle bag or under the cover under the seat. Get the module part# and you could look it up. Think its Haskins? or Hopkins?
