    Default SE5 transmission/stalling update

according to my dealer in central NJ, BRP issued a recall of all 08 SE5 spyders to add the grounding wire from the coil and stop the stalling and lurching forward. It was issued on Monday. He claims it is an actual recall not just a bulletin to the dealers. Mine is getting the adjustment and I'll keep my fingers crossed.

    Default Not all the SE5s...

had the transmission problem. The dealer told me today when doing the steering update that my SOs SE5 was on the list for the update but they did not have the parts on hand. He ordered it and it will go back for that recall.

update: the dealer did everything for the SE5 update, software, ground wires but it still stalled. BRP had them run a bunch of tests. Then authorized a complete new transmission. Trani came in today. Let's hope it works.

    Default update stalling

New clutch assembly. Bike still stalls. BRP recommended the dealer pull the light relay and then try it. No stalling bike runs fine. Only change since new is the NMN HID headlights. Evan - any thoughts? Tomorrow dealer will re-install original headlights, put the relay back, and cross their fingers.

Confirming your info the ground wire recall is called "Recall 2009-3". I had it done today.
