Good link, thanks. Sort of says it all in the article without the tedious read on BRP. What I did not see, was if the top case can be added to the RT, I prefer the RT, don't need the chrome wheel covers, etc.

Yes the top case can be added, but it only comes in black for about $2,000. If you want it color matched then you would need to purchase the limited.
If you did have the limited, but did not want to always have the top box on you can purchase a colored cover that snaps in to hid the LinQ system when the box is removed.

I read the whole thing. Thank you for posting. Anyone see which models are manual transmissions? Thanks, Joe

    Thanks for the link.

Since none of the material lists a manual transmission option it would appear it is no longer available on the RT line.

Welll, technically, they're ALL pretty much the same manual gearbox, it's just that they've now got flappy paddle initiated Power Shifting & a solenoid/hydraulic computer controlled clutch so that you can't mess things up like you can with one of those fiddly levers on the left hand bar!

It's the way of the future, man.... just like that LCD Dash!

The only model available with the manual(clutch & foot shift) is the F3-S.

I like the articles "Spyders in the dust" reference to they're more dirt road prepared than prior versions, wonder what that entails, a "missing" belt guard factory installed?
I noticed in one of the pics they've really extended the rear fender (compared to my '13 RTL) to help with "rain wrap".

While the bike has some good design changes, I'd expect (but don know for sure) that is has all of the inherent weakness of previous models. You'll have to replace the tires, shocks and anti-swaybar to help handling, then add all of the things, farkles, you've added to the one you already have. This might be for someone who really wants to trade up and start over or first time buyers. I have a page and a half of up grades I've done to my '14 RT which has really added to the initial cost of the bike. I do very much like the look but I've spent too much time and money making my bike, MY bike. I look forward to seeing one 'in the flesh' so to speak. It IS good looking.

The rear fender is the same setup as on the F3T and F3L. No need for an extra mud flap, but it does make checking the rear tire a lot harder.

The base model F3 has a manual transmission.

ALL the RTs and upgrade F3s have the semiautomatic (damn).

Don't know (or care) about the Rykers.

Incorrect info. The base F3 is only available with a Semi-auto. The F3-S is the only Spyder model available with a manual transmission.
