These are nice units. You might want to elaborate on the microphone in the earpiece feature. How does the earpiece pick up your voice and not ambient sound?

The speakers that insert into the pockets on the helmet has a small protrusion at the bottom that contains the microphone. I'm not exactly sure how they got it to work, but it certainly does. I have a modular helmet and I don't like the boom mic in my face, and this solve the problem.

In the year and a half or so that I used it, I never had any difficulty with my wife being able to hear anything that was said. It would not work too well with an open face helmet I believe, but with a modular and certainly with a full face helmet they work just great. It is not the best for high-grade audio or music listening, but we only wanted it so that we could communicate and hear the GPS while we were riding.
