Default FLH side panel hook broken?

Hi folk, I assume the hook at the top right of the cover is broken?
And if so it appears I can get a new one and glue it on? OP

For repairing plastics, I found Plast-aid to be the best for sticking things back together. Easy to use.

The next question would be, if it is indeed broken, where do I get a replacement?
My dealers parts guy is new, he thinks I need a new panel!

Or, you could cut the remnants of the hook off, fit the panel into place to get the correct location, & then (carefully) drill thru the cover panel and the underlying panel & fit a D-ZUS clip instead! They postitively lock the panel on when it's in place, no chance of that panel ever coming off with the D-ZUS engaged, looks as tho it's meant to be there, and yet the panel can be taken off just as quickly & easily as ever!

    Love that, Peter!
Alternatively, a 2” strip of Velcro, applied to the top surface, works great!
