I too have a 2017 F3 Limited and can't be happier with my choice of Spyder. F3's are much easier to service and do things like check oil and brake fluid level. And you can place a large pizza AND a large box of donuts FLAT in the huge top case. Plus you get goodies standard that others have to add. Go for it!

I think that the 2016 F3 Limited is the best of the F3 Limited models. The do not get the rear box, but that can be added. My reasoning for saying it is the best of the F3 Limited models is because the later years got the smaller rear sprocket, therefore less off line acceleration. I picked up a 2016 F3T, and am very happy. Go for it!

That's some of the "good stuff." What they say above.

Do some due diligence. Have the dealer run the VIN and get the service history, if any. Low miles, but it has missed three years of annual service if none has been performed.

Hello, Just to throw my 2 cents worth in I also have the 2016 F3 Limited Special Series. I have 34,000 miles on now and I love it. I have had no problems at all....well the only problem I did have was the gas cap. It seems they are all hard to work until you put some silicone around the gas cap and on the locking part then it's a breeze. I love the set up with the glove compartment and the USB port and iPhone hook up. It's just such an awesome bike. The heated hand grips are great even though there is only off or on, it still is great. I get about 35 mph give or take a little. It has plenty of power. I pull a kiwk camp pop up camper and have no issues with the hills or going on the interstate. If you can get it for the price you want you don't have anything to worry about, just as suggested above though do some checking on the VIN number.

I found the overly tight gas cap to be an easy fix. Contact me if yours does that.

Plan on doing all of the PM on the bike when you get it. I bought a 2016 with 2400 miles in June 2019 and none of the PM was done on it (expected). Battery, oil change, brake flush and you'll be good to go. Tires should still be good.

Thank you all for the advice. I pulled the trigger for $13,800. The oil and battery were just changed. A dealer inspection and vin check was done. I will be getting the brake fluid changed as well.

    Done and done via PM.
If others want to see it, I can copy and paste it in this thread. Or another if that's more appropriate.

I would also like to know what works. Adding to this post, or starting another would be nice. Either way, thanks in advance.
