    Default F3 changes 2019

Looking at getting 2019 or waiting so see what comes out in 2020. Was looking at available after market accessories and noticed there are quite a few that will fit all but 2019. What changes have occurred since prior years? Tried the search feature, but no luck. Thanks

I just picked up an F3-S this week. As far as the F3/S, I think the only changes were body color options, wheel color and new dash display. Sounds like 2020's could be quite different. Might be able to score a 2019 for a great price..

In addition, the turn signals were removed from the mirrors and placed on the fenders. Those were the main changes between the 2019 and prior years.

I heard someone discussing that the electrical system is not as accepting of aftermarket added lights. If this is so, I assume the 2020 models will be the same

That is wrong. The electrical system on the 2019 F3 is wired for many of the same accessories that are standard on the more expensive models. The wiring is already there and all you have to do is plug the compatible accessories in. There is also plenty of customer circuits already there to wire other items into.

2019 F3 all models come with a 79 (small) toothed rear sprocket. 28 up front like all the others. Earlier US models had an 89 tooth rear.

This has been corrected. S has 89 teeth.

I thought the 2019 F3s still had the 89 tooth

On the RT & F3 touring models the front fenders are now a 1 piece moulded part
Therefore the existing Front Fender LED Reflectors do not fit
    (Possible access issue)
I suspect the suppliers are working on a remedy for this
That’s why at present it states up to 2018 models

The parts list you linked looks exactly like the one I use. I see both pulleys listed on it. They can call it a pulley or they can call it a sprocket, it is the same part. The part number is the same. Only the region and what they are calling it is different, with different number of teeth.

No, I have a 2019 F3-S that came with the big pulley.

In a way, 2RT was correct. I replaced the turn signals on my wife's 2019 F3S with LED's and there is no current way to cancel the hyper-flash. In previous BUDS, there was a setting that allowed the technician to switch the signals into "international mode". This feature has been removed for BUDS II which is on all the new 2019's. BUDS II seems to be a watered down "successor" to BUDS. Boggles the mind... but then again... Canadian engineering.

Look into adding load equalizers in the circuit to take the load back to the same as the OEM lights.

Correct... that method does NOT work on the 2019, nor the 2018 (any of the new style dash with BRP Connect). For the 2018, there was supposed to be a selection in BUDS to put the flashers into "international mode". This toggle was removed in BUDS II (on 2019 models) for an unknown reason. As of right now, there is no way to defeat the hyperflash without load equalizing resistors. I don't want to do this due to the added heat of the resistors.

I was just perusing the maintenance manuals between the 2018/2019 F3's. I see the 2018 manual shows 5 qts oil with oil/motor filter change, and the 2019 shows 5.5 qts with oil/motor filter. What changed? Different oil pan ?

It's quite possible nothing changed... except the manual.
My Sportster manual called for (as I recall) 3.6 quarts of oil. It kept spitting oil up into the airbox. Later the factory issued a bulletin stating (in essence):"Oops, the oil capacity is actually 2.9 quarts."
