    Default Speedometer

I had a quick question do you get tired of people looking at your speedometer and asking you do your Spyder go 200 mph? I wonder why did the folks at BRP have a speedometer that goes that far when the spyder only go up to 130+ mph? 1st post

The switchable (metric vs US) speedometer will top out in metric mode... 126 mph = approximately 200 kph. On the same scale.

However, when people ask, I just say nonchalantly, "Well, yes, why else would it be there?".

When people ask about it, I just say "I haven't gotten it that fast yet, but I'm trying!"

Yes, the Spyder speedo is an odd duck...a digitally driven, analog speedometer. When you change units, it does, too. No more red markings for the other scale. My reply is always "Don't know, haven't tried it yet." That keeps em guessing. Or, you could just smile...
