Check Engine Light
I have done the search and read a bunch of the post but still do not have an answer. I have also done the remove key and walk around and disconnect battery to no avail. How do you get the check engine light and the blinking orange screen to dissappear if you do not have a code. I know some say this is impossable but all i get is a white screen when I try to pull codes. 2011 RT SM5 Can dealer fix with Buds?

For sure....
dealer can hook up to buds and get you the codes and clear them as well. Strange that you would have the orange screen without a code or a warning light like , oil, brakes, VSS, DPS etc. Those generally scroll across the screen not like the codes that need to be looked up. The check engine light will come on for whatever engine or not....

Battery and it's connections could be the culprit.

I agree with Gene, you can get the check engine light without codes but you normally would have another light like VSS, etc.

How hot was it? If it’s above 124 on the screen you will get check engine light. Drive or park in shade for a while.

Stopped at the dealer's yesterday and they said to bring it in and they would hook it up to Buds and reset the light. They said it was rare that you get a light and no code but it does happen. Said it was probably just a computer glitch. Problem is it raining today, got 1 1/2 inch last night and still thunderstorms in the area. Will probably just trailer it.
