Default 2018 handle bar control lights

Hey, just a quick question. I rode my spyder for the first time in complete dark. The right hand had the cruise control switch all lite up but the left hand only had the joy stick. I really struggled a bit with the high beam switch. Is this how they are?

Also why doesn't the fog light have a dash icon like high beam.

Also also, what is up with the rainbow colors thrown on the reflective road signs?

You need to learn where these switches are so you can activate them without looking down. Keep your eyes on the roads. Practice, Practice, practice.

Yes Flame you are right but not having driven in the dark my thumb hadn't had much experience with the hi-lo switch. I soon had it. Just wondering why the cruise was lite but not the left hand switches as maybe mine was defective.
