Became an owner today.
Picked up a demo model f3s. Nice titanium and orange. Looks real nice. Never rode a motorcycle before, but I do have experience with atvs.
Wasn't sure how I was going to do at highway speeds. Fast was fun. Wasn't sure how I was going to handle shifting, like knowing when to up shift and stuff. Came naturally. So my two biggest fears were solved on the ride home.
I think it'll be a nice birthday present for myself. Also I know for sure I'm the only spyder on my side of town so I'll be unique. Also have the only Alfa Romeo on my side of town, and possibly the whole town lol. Unique things are fun.
Had a smile the whole way home.

Welcome. What's your town? We're the only ones on our side of town (San Antonio) with a pair of Spyders and a Fiat Abarth. All things considered though I'd rather have the pair of Spyders and the Alfa.

Miller.....You had me laughing all through your post - what a great read! I have owned 4 Alfas in the 60s and 70s and am ecstatic that they made a comeback. I didn't want to break the retirement budget on a Stelvio, so I got the next best thing; an Alfa Romeo Spyder. I had one in the 60s.

Hey, I'm in China Grove, just east(cue the doobie Brothers song). I know I've seen a spyder or two around, just not very often.

Never really been a car person, or a vehicle person in general, but the Giulia really caught my eye. So I bought one. Been a blast and a half to drive and always get compliments on it. Love the Alfa badge on the spyder. Might have to do something similar to mine.

Welcome! I too am a new rider and picked a Spyder as my first buy. I still lust after a Honda Goldwing though and may decide to buy a small bike in addition to this Spyder. We will see.
Also own a Miller 252. Great welder! Own an Everlast too....as a hobby guy I can't afford to fill my garage with a $9k Dynasty for learning how to TIG.
