Have the coil ground wires been added yet per the bulletin? My SE5 transmission has behaved perfectly since doing it.

What bulletin are you referring to. My dealer spoke to BRP who says there has been no problems other than the upgrade on the SE5. This after my bike contiues to have the problem. They have no suggestions in 2 weeks.

Please remember, it's human nature to complain about problems while most people won't post daily comments about how well products work. I have had no problems with my Spyder in a year and hope (and trust) it will stay that way, though I do watch the posts for preventative maintenance tips.

    Rock on my Spyder family!!!

Pphantom538 - the bulletin I am referring to is at...
    http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/s...ight=coil+wire
...to add two wires from the ignition coil mounting bolt to two different grounding sources, to quell errant voltage spikes. You can remove the left black panel and easily see if the wires have been added or not.

    Nater1,

Do you have HID or fig lights installed? I remember a little while ago a few people had electrical problems that were caused by a bad install of either HIDs or fog lights.

Although it sounds more like a GPS problem, it may be worth checking into.

Aubierules - Have your service dept call my service manager, Ryan Stevens, 501.833.2628 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He's the one who turned me onto the coil grounding fix.

    Default Just a update

I called BRP Monday morning with concerns to my problem, and was told my dealer has contacted engineering who has told dealer to replace GBPS again, and double check the grounds.

My dealers is a really good dealer who is trying their best to resolve my problem but I am getting the feeling BRP is playing us both.

    Back information

I have had these items replaced

    TPS
    GBPS
    Clutch assemble

Know they are replacing the GBPS again.
