    Default Tired of it

Haven't ridden for a week. The rain starts at 10:00 AM, and the thunderstorms start at 2:00 PM. Just had a power surge.

I know the feeling. This spring was extremely wet and we couldn't get out nearly as often as we would have liked. They do make some very good rain suits nowadays, however.

We're waiting for better weather in Phoenix. Get up at 5am to 90° weather. By the time you get back from a ride it's 105°. Last Thursday-Friday we completed the 3wheel MC course with Team Arizona. During the riding test our Spyder displayed a check engine error. The code was P0127 which indicated the air intake was over 120°. Never went into Limp Mode, so we finished OK and passed. Rain would have been a relief!

In January Your and Im shoveling! LOL

We get the excitement of oil and chipped roads. I learned that the rear tire needs to be in the clean and the fronts are ok in the loose stuff........................Better than on Two wheels...

I feel ya! I live a bit south of you, in Port Saint Lucie. The rain has been a real pain. I've only had my F3T for a few weeks. I've managed a couple of morning rides, but dodging rain clouds to get back in the garage. I did get in one full day, but in the "feels like 105" you have to keep moving.

Wifey and I spent the 4th of July in Branson, Missouri. One night we rode into town for dinner. Blue skies, we're in shorts and tank tops. Get to restaurant, hang helmets on handlebar locks, go in and have a great dinner. While we were eating there was a downpour. Still raining when we went out, helmets FULL of water. Dumped water out, put helmets on and rode back to hotel. T'was still 85 deg, wet helmets and clothes felt great.

I live in Florida too. Wouldn't even consider moving. I ride year round. Getting wet is not going to hurt a thing when the temperature is 95 to 100 degrees. The only thing I try to avoid is riding when lightning is striking around close. It doesn't rain all day long, most days. Getting wet riding through a small rain is not going to hurt anything. You will be dry again 30 minutes later.
