Default Anyone got a rear tail/brake stobe effect set-up?

Making a separated thread as suggested (from my cluster glass issue).

I am thinking to add a module for the rear brakes that will strobe the light (with the hope that I make it more evident for people behind me that I am braking).

I was looking at this module: Swess GS-100A.

However this module works for LED bulbs... so I was also thinking to replace the tail bulbs with these:

If anyone did this (or at least anything similar)... did you had any issues with the setup (CANBUS errors or whatnot)?

Could be... that's why I am here asking the questions.
Maybe someone did something similar before and there is a way.

I installed this flasher in the third brake/tail light that's in the trunk. I am pleased with the results, very attention grabbing. I did not use the furnished connectors, don't like that type. Used Posi-Locks instead.

I have the TricLED on my 14 RT and have no issues with it. It plugs right into the cables with no cutting. Easy install

I don't necessarily want to switch to LED... if I can find a strobe module that works with the normal bulbs, I am OK with that as well.

    Thanks!

Mr. Newt.....The bad news is, I didn't take pictures. The good news is, it's so simple. Open the cavity in the top case, determine which of the two wires to the light are + & -, cut both, splice the box into those wires (black is ground) and you're done after putting the light back.

I have the Trciled Strobe, it works very well had it going 2 years, also I added the 3rd brake light with strobe and no problems there either.
    To be continued....

I will ask again if anyone can tell me more about this "Tirkled / Trciled" strobe light... I did some search but nothing came up :|.

If not, then I will be going for something else - I have found a module that apparently works with the Incandescent bulbs, so no need for LED lights.
The unit is called FlashFast 60 Watts... hopefully will work .

The Tricled strobe looks exactly like and has the exact same strobe patterns as the RT Magic Strobe that Custom Dynamics used to but no longer sells.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Is not really going to work on the RS-S.
Also, I would like to not add anything extra... re-using the stock lights is ideal...

Speaking of, I think I will be going for the TricLed option; no additional light, everything seems to be plug and play and its re-using the stock lights (which is exactly what I want).

    Thanks all!

Depending on what company you buy from some will give you a point by point work sheet with pictures!! I got the third brake light from spyderpops.com this spring and they gave me a set of directions a five year old could fallow!! Good luck

You can also leave the OEM lights solid & add some modulation lights personally I like the mix. 56B4B727-E5F9-4B25-99BF-E9AF52DA07C5.jpg
The small LEDs are Rivico & modulate while the rest are solid I found something closer for running the wires than the optional license plate kit provided.
