    Default Installing the helmet lock

Anyone figure out an easier way to install the helmet lock? I think it's ridiculous you have to lift up the entire body assembly to get to it. I want to be able to use it but I also don't want to have to go through what it takes to get the upper body assembly up or pay what it would probably cost to get the dealer to do it.

I realize now that there are easier options but I already bought the helmet lock and can't take it back.

I used lidlox, but what kind of lock did you buy. Do you have a picture or link? Where are you trying to install it?

ain’t it supposed to hook under the seat some how, & the bag sits tightly on seat preventing helmet removal or the walk by selfie vandals? Still new, should be ez sale it off “found something that works better for me”

I have installed BRP lock by myself few weeks ago, it took 20 minutes. No need to remove anything except seat which is easy (you just pull it up). It requires a bit patience and smaller fingers.

I found this other thread where they talked about it and it has a link to pics where some else installed it without pulling up the upper body
