There was a Ford Mustang that came from the factory painted a lot like that. The car actually changed color as the light hit it from different angles. Is that the same paint? Forget what it was called.

There is a guy in the motorcycle "gang" I ride with that has his Honda trike painted with a multi-color changing paint. It looks the same or similar to what you have. The color changes dramatically as you walk around the trike and the light hits it at different angles. Very different. His nickname is "Technicolor"..... Jim

Ahh the days of the mystic cobras with color shift paint right out of the factory. Now a days many have this style paint available.

To the OP, you ain’t done yet keep on going! Paint more panels!

I think it was " Imron " paint …. It wasn't a standard factory color tho …..I think it was about $1000.00 per gal..... and yes it did change color depending on what angle you looking at it from ….. Mike

A security guard at work about 13 years ago had his car painted with color shifting paint, green, purple, and I don't remember what all. I was told the same about price, about $1000 per gallon.

Very nice! It truly personalises your machine and looks a whole lot 'less plasticky' than the OE drab!

But upon reflection, I hafta say there is one leeedle thing that bothers me just a tiny bit..... because of the Ryker's 'cricket with its bum stuffed up its nose' profile, from some angles, that 'black with a greenish tinge overlay' makes your Ryker look even more like Jiminy Cricket had a horrible accident and ran full tilt into a windscreen travelling at high velocity in the opposite direction, a meeting of devastating impact - so much so that the very first thing that went thru his mind was his as* h**e.... errr, rear end!

That said, there's no two ways about it; your colour choice really is spot on, the application nearing perfection, and the overall effect positively ensures that your Ryker will stand out in any company!
