    Default Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be

    2015 RT with 25,000 miles on it. I Installed EBC brake pads all the way around and tweaked the belt tension and alignment as well. Three hours from the time I grabbed the first wrench until I stepped into the shower. I've had worse jobs The front brake pads had a good bit of life left in them, but the rears were pretty much gone. That makes sense since the rears don't get the cooling air that the fronts get and they also work in a dirtier environment. The rotors were in good shape.

    I have it from a reliable source that the rear pads will wear faster than the front. This is due to the hydraulic pressure being biased to the rear for stability.

    Mine has been wearing this way.

    I have just turned 67000 miles. I am still on my original pads in front. Rear pads I change every summer. Bruce
    New to Sue and I
    2021, LTD, Asphalt Gray, 22,000 miles
    Gone but not forgotten
    RTS 2011 SM5, 95,000 miles
