For the quick touch-ups: Lamont's Black Diamond Detailer was the key...

Car wash soap. It's cheap. Then Pledge or most any quality spray bottle detailer/wax system like liquid ice will help keep it looking spiffy.

S-100 polish for those spider-webby scratchs. Meguiar's yellow 26 wax. Griot's Garage Best of Show detailer. All three are the best I have found, so far. Shine is deep and slick.

Maxima SC1 clear coat....This stuff is amazing! It will keep your black ..black and turns your color on your bike new again. This also keeps it cleaner from wash to wash. Got it on EBAY, cheaper than Amazon. Check it out on you tube.

Car wash soap to clean. S100 detailer and wax for everyday shine. At the end of summer I'll go over it with a clay bar and then a good coat of "Liquid Glass" nano wax.

Soap and water then polish with lemon pledge the bugs comes right off, the bike shines and smells good too. Seriously Lemon Pledge works great.

Lemon Pledge is cheap simply spray on then wipe and buff just as you would any other wax.

I've always used dollar store "pledge" on the windshield. Makes the bugs come off easy.

For me I use the two dryer sheets in a spray bottle with distilled water for bug removal. Then use all wheel(paint safe) and tire cleaner on rims and tires. Then car wash soap it all off. I use my electric leaf blower to get all the water out of the mirrors and other crevasses then dry. I have been using the plexus polish on the windshield because I had a can. It is pretty expensive so I will find an alternative. Then I use LUCAS speed wax on the painted Tupperware. Finally I use a wet tire product on the rubber. Leather conditioner wipes on the seat. Armorall matt on the black painted stuff.Pretty spa-ish but I love my spyder.

I start always using a good car wash soap lubricates so no scratches and now I finish with Mothers CMX. Keeps her very clean and the water just rolls off.

I have a few spots of what looks like bug splatter that will not come off .I is as if it is in the clear coat .I have tried scratch doctor ,but it will not come off .Short of taken it to a body shop what do you use ?

Bug splatter will dissolve if you spray with hydrogen peroxide. I have washed the whole bike with it for a quick wash.

Regardless of what wash you use and how you wash it, the trick is to dry it with an electric leaf blower (be careful...electric and water don't mix very well). It works wonders!

I really like CSI Q7 Detailer. I spray a little bit on, rub it in with a microfiber towel and then buff with a different microfiber towel. Goes on very quickly and easily yet produces a uniform and shiny surface. https://youtu.be/s1xSbvl_I1k.
