Is this Normal, Spyder F3S LED Headlight Question?

I own a 2015 Spyder F3 S. I recently purchased the LED headlights from Slingmod to replace the halogen bulbs. Ive noticed that it gets quite Hot just under the digital gauges. I can hear the fans kick in with the Lights but am worried that it will melt my wires or worse, cause a fire. I have never known Led headlights to give off any heat? Is this normal? Thanks

LED lights give off a lot of heat, that is why they are designed with either a substantial heat sink or a fan.

My Lamonsters Led headlights and fog lights are cool. There are no fans.
