Starter stuttering, computer rebooting when starting engine

Hi all, I have a 2014 RT with about 29,000 miles and a weird problem. The starter hesitates, then kicks in while the computer reboots. If I turn the engine off, then back on right away, the computer does not reboot again, but the starter still stutters a little.

Battery is brand new and voltage reads fine. No error codes.

Any ideas how to approach this? I am just afraid that one of these times the Spyder won't start at all.

It is obvious that the system voltage dropped below 10V during engine crank and the gauge cluster rebooted.

1. Low charge on battery. Charge it up. Then figure out why the low charge.
2. Dirty/loose battery connections. Too high a voltage drop. Could also be a cause for low battery charge.
3. Bad battery. I don't care how new it is. Charge it and have it load tested.
4. Bad bearing in the starter. Too high a current draw. Not likely so eliminate the other possible problems first.

Interesting. I did not think it could be the battery since it is brand new, but I will take it to the shop and have them test it. Thanks.
