footpegs for passenger... and rider
had a 800mls man-only weekend ..and a friend as a passenger - prefered to sit on my spyder instead of a 1200er BMW ..
on the way home he tried to ride the spy by himselve (did`t work) - so I was sitting some 10 minutes on the back..
absolut unconfortable for my knees ( understand now my wife !!)
so during the trip i found the solution..
==> if there would be longer front-footpegs - the passenger could use them also..no problem for the rider..
will have a look to find some tubes to try it out...
someone understood ??
chris ( only an idea in the moment)

I have considered this possible solution from time to time, too. Never carry a passenger, so no need to pursue it further, but it seems viable. let us know if you find something that works.

Our billet pegs that will be out later this month were made longer and you could actually do what you just asked about with them.

I've just added BRP's passenger extension pegs to my Spyder.
Last Sunday my wife and I took a 102 mile trip along the CT coast line. She's very pleased with the extensions over the previous passenger peg position.
Here's a pic:
