I just checked my 2019 F3 Base model and I got 41 mpg on a 150 mile trip. I have 600 miles on it, so I'm hoping that might improve. I drive in Eco mode.

I get 32 to 38 on my F3S with manual trans and not in Eco mode. Lots of mountain driving and I like to get on it a bit.

    2014 RTS SE6 (1330) today two up mountain roads 90% 3rd, 4th and 5th gear, 41 mpg. approx. 150 miles. High rpm's are a mpg killer.

2017 F3L here. Just rolled past the 20,000 km mark (13,000 mi). Random checks over past two years show we are averaging 6L per 100 km, or around 40 mpg US. Lately, we have been getting closer to 43 mpg US, or around 50 mpg using Imperial (British) gallon. That's riding two-up about 80% of time on gently rolling back country roads, mostly doing 55 mph, or so. We don't poke along, but also don't do burn-outs or push it hard; we challenge the 'twisties', but don't push the edge. Hauling our light trailer occasionally drops the mileage by 20%. Good weather ryding, 70's/80's, using 91/93 octane fuel. Riding split between ON and FL, with a few places in between (hills of NC, VA, WV, TN, SC). On the few occasions when we/I have been on the Interstate or super highways, travelling 65-85 mph, fuel consumption has markedly increased, although I cannot recall ever being worse than 32/33 mpg. Maybe we're just lucky, but love the way our F3L performs.

I get mostly high 30's. Low 40's only a couple times. When you drive over 65 the mileage goes down and is noticeable.

    32K miles on mine.

After break in mileage is improved as is speed. I get with 87 octane between 38 and 42 US depending on the right wrist and traffic. 14k on the clock.

Which I think is about average from all the reports here.
Of course, any given owner might be either side of the "average" a bit.

P.S. JimSter: Have you searched the old threads on here ? It has been discussed MANY times before.

Hello all! I just got a 2016 f3 limited three days ago so Im as new as one can be! My question is gas consumption I filled up yesterday took the bike to work 210km round trip and my tank is reading three bars to empty is this normal? How many km should i be getting to a tank? I was riding with cruz on at 108 km/h in 6 gear dropping to 5th only to pass.

    Thanx for your help.

Gas mileage is definitely not what I bought mine for.

Through 61,000 miles I'm averaging 36.8 mpg. On a recent 5,180 mile tour to Colorado I averaged 38.7 with next to no interstate riding but some extended riding on U.S. highways at 65-70. For me it all depends on how much fun I want to have. Ride like an old fart and I've gotten as high as 45.2; into a stiff NM headwind at 75-80 on I 40 I've suffered 28.3 mpg.

Like to ride mine in the 2000rpm to 3500rpm range, but I get the feeling mileage is better if ridden more in the 3500rpm to 4500rpm range.

1330 threes seem to like 3500 - 4000 for cruising. You do not have to run them up to sixth all the time. You get used to the 3500 - 4000 sound and don't have to keep looking at the tach.
