Ok went on a 4 day 1400 mile trip to Canada. I hit a couple of hard dips in the road. Enough to have my Lamonster frame cup fly out of it's holder. On the freeway (road construction) so goodbye Lamonster cup. Anyway yesterday my power steering on my 18 F3L was hard to turn at idle and radio music was cutting out. I removed and clean battery terminal's and tighten down good also tightened cables to relay terminal. The power steering is easy to turn but still radio cuts a very little bit. Never noticed that before. What do you guys think I should check. Bike is 1 year old end of this month.
Start with the main ground cable from the battery to the frame.
Then get a voltmeter and watch the charging voltage for a bit.
Might also be that the antenna or it's mount has come loose.
AND.....if your warranty will expire at the one year mark, seriously consider taking it in for the dealer to fix, whatever the cause of the problem is.
(Maybe should NOT mention the big pot hole.......maybe.)
other folks here in the past have attempted to adjust the main ground cable with disastrous results - you can check to see if it's tight - if it isn't have the dealer fix it …...mike
Did you get any errors when the power steering was out? I had that issue a few times last year and it is something BRP is aware of. They blame it on you riding near high power lines. I have a late build 17 F3T which has the same ‘brushless’ power steering as your 18.

Ann I was in a residential sub division. So no power lines. It did not have any fault codes and did it all the way home 25 miles. It steered ok moving. Just at idle it steered hard and my music would cut out a bit. Everything worked ok this morning on my way to work. Go figure.
