Default which would you choose ??

For those who have both an RT and a Ryker.. If you were going 45 miles to lunch -- which would elect to take ? The RT , or the Ryker ?

I have the RT so that would be my choice.I have test ridden the Ryker and liked it but still prefer the RT.

The Ryker is fun for Putzin around town

The RT is more of a road cruiser

I've seen the Ryker up close, and took a brief demo ride back in Feb. If I had both, I think I'd use the Ryker for the local/runabout ride you describe. But I'm sure it's capable of that and more.

sorry I don’t qualify but I do have both 2 & 3 wheels I rotate between have been asked similar questions
If I had both & it’s a good restaurant, I’ll visit multiple times so it would be both.
If it’s picnic lunch, the RT for room to carry said picnic.
a passenger would add more complications so whoever better have their own bike & can ryde withgood ol lunch run try to keep regular rotation with my buds & our fave locations now.

Your question maybe very very limited, as I do not think there are a lot of people with both bikes.
I rode a ryker, and did not like it all. For me, the RT is the only way to...(just my opinion.)

RT's only...so I cannot give an opinion other than I would rather RT it than cage it.

Reason for my question. The RT is so very tall, and big.l. My wife loves it, but when I am by myself - seems a bit big.. I test rode the Ryker, and it seemed for one up - very manageable. Norf was I as higher up - that folks in a car.
    Just thinkin

If I had both, I would possibly take the ryker for a local ride to lunch. But you better eat everything and not have a to go box. If you do, there is no place to put it on the ryker.

If they are curvy roads the Ryker would be my pick and if flat and straight the RT. (I had a RT 22,000 miles)
