    Default Went.for.a ride this evening

Sad day today, went to a friend's funeral this afternoon. So I decided to go for a short ride. Snapped this pic at the top is Sassafras Mtn and it reinforced that life is good.

Riding can be very cathartic. I know.

I take a stretch of highway on my spyder every once in a while where I'm the only person for miles around. I have a view of mountains, forests, planes and valleys, in just about every direction for as much as 30 miles. Each time I'm reminded how small we are and how lucky we are. An epiphany moment that can last for 10 minutes or more.
