That's a great team. They deserve the win.
Too bad not all of them paid the proper respect to the American Flag and our National Anthem. Not liking a politician is one thing and I can understand not supporting that person or persons. However, those that kneel during the National Anthem are disrespecting the thousands of men and women that died to give us the right to protest. Try going to China and pull off that stunt. Their protest and anger is misguided.

Hi Grandpot,
Re: However, those that kneel during the National Anthem are disrespecting the thousands of men and women that died to give us the right to protest.
Not on my book. It is called Freedom of Expression; something about the First Amendment and all that.
And you started the political thing, not me.

That's just my point. The American Flag and those that gave their lives for it are what give you the right to protest. Why the hell would you disrespect the Flag?

Our fine media just makes it all worse and stirs the pot of discontent. I've gotten very tired of politics mixed into my sports. I have discovered much extra time as I don't waste much time watching political sports.
I'm glag the USA team won.

Mike, he may be ticking about someone else. I didn't think my post about the media "stiring the pot " was political---- but I guess someone will construe it that way???
Just watch what the talking heads do with it.

"media stirring the pot" is * indeed * a political claim (by folks of a certain persuasion) and not an observation. In most of the world, when 100 people are saying one thing, and only one is saying otherwise, you go with 100.

My use of the term " stirring the pot " had zero to do with your post, using the same term …. Mike

But he was pointing out an *obvious* political faux pas, and instead of the maker of said faux pas, you charge him for pointing it out. That's not acceptable if you intend to be fairhanded.
