Sure this is a touring tryke. Left Indianapolis Wednesday evening and yesterday morning I was in Estes, CO. Lots of rain early on, then some healthy high heat in western Kansas. Only issue is my machine has a range of only about 130 miles per tank at interstate speed (75-80 mph) So, lots of gas stops. The trike handles great on the road and is an absolute BLAST in the twisties of the mountains. On Peak to Peak highway right now. Heading to Moab, North Rim, Zion, Monument Valley, etc. Southern Utah is the best in the states IMHO.
You are in and seeing and about to see some amazingly beautiful country. Enjoy!
Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.

Keep your knees in the breeze!
Wish I was with you, but your right, some hefty heat and thunderstorms in Kansas right now. Drove from Kansas City to Vegas a few years back, man, some beautiful country in Colorado and Utah.
Normally I stop every 100 miles for gas on a long ride. It gives me a chance to stretch my legs. It helps eliminate the fatigue at the end of the day.

Remember in the day when people took off cross country on 250 and 350 Yamahas and 305 Honda dreams and super hawks. Probably more 70’s 350 Honda’s have crossed this country than any other bike. At one time BMW’s big tourer was a 600cc boxer twin that put out 28hp. In 79 I rode a 1979 Vespa P200E from Connecticut to Creede Colorado and back over 5 weeks. I wanted to go and it’s what I had.

Those were good days and good bikes. As late as 1978 the BMW 600 was considered as a very good tourer. I ended up buying a Kawi 650 (UJM) and vettered it out. Many trips between Ft. Wayne and Duluth, and Rochester to Duluth and back were taken with that bike.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

A friend rode his 305 Honda from Seattle to San Francisco and back. Got off work Friday night and hit the road. Was back at work Monday morning. Made for a long weekend just for a "date". He was young, dumb, and................ Jim

Had a 650 back then too. Was a nice bike, for what it was.
