    Default Boy was it hot.

Was about 100 degrees by 4pm in Albuquerque & Santa Fe today.
Gonna do two things in the future:

Start travel days real early to take advantage of the morning coolness.
Pickup a couple of those evaporative cooling vests...

Wish it was that "cool" here. Has been 110-113 but it did cool down to 106 today. Going back up to 110-115 next week. My threshold for riding any distance is 100. Above that, I stop VERY often to cool down..... Jim

    Dito!

Identify what you have control over and find peace with what you don't.

Heh. I saw your triple digit temperature post and immediately my brain said "Arizona"...

I got a trip to St. George Utah coming up in a week and a half. It's looking to be 4 am departures - it'll be too much heat later in the day. I'm hoping the evaporative vests help out a bit as it starts to heat up. But for sure, it's gonna be *early* morning riding for sure.

We are on the return leg of our Coast to Coast and back trip, we stopped in Clinton Oklahoma yesterday and our bikes were reading 112 they run about 10 degrees higher than actual. We wear cooling vests drink often and start very early in the morning and stop before we get road weary.

Since moving to Arkansas, we have had several days in the 90's. We came from Chugiak, AK (about 20 miles N of Anchorage).

Yesterday, we heard they reached 100 degrees in some places of Anchorage...that was an all time high for them.

Happy to say, so far, we LIKE the higher temps. The central air is nice at times though.
