I got a chance to ride one about 8 months ago, Yes it is strange looking but wow can it handle.
It rides the same as any 2 wheels motorcycle but much more stable in the twistie.
you can see them in your local showroom right now, Rider did a big article on it about 1 year ago.
This is in no way a machine made to compete with the Spyder...If I were 30 years younger I would
buy one... but my wife says I am to old on the outside, Hey but I am young on the inside.

" I am to old on the outside, Hey but I am young on the inside."

My dad used to say...." young enough to do it again....but old enough to know better".....

Both Rider Magazine and Road Runner magazine have road tests on Nikken from Yamaha. It is not a trike, it leans and will fall over if you don't balance it. It is a very interesting solution to delaying front end washout. I find it very interesting and if I were still riding 2 wheelers fast I would want to try one out as it would allow greater lean angles.

As others mention, this is a different market than a Spyder, trike or a sidecar as it still requires one to balance and be able to put their feet down to stabilize at a stop. Different take on three wheels.

Would be interesting if it locked into an up right position at parking lot speeds but in its current state its a solution in search of a problem. Sales guy at my dealership says they haven’t sold one yet.

The tilting mechanism cannot be locked, so it can tip over in the parking position.
