    Default Emergency Release - Frunk

    20190616_111751 WITH TEXT.jpg20190616_111722.jpg

Here's a way to install an emergency release for the Frunk. This is useful if the normal release broke or if you have put so much stuff in the Frunk that the latch is jammed. All you need is some bicycle brake cable. The cable can be found on Amazon for about $12.

On the latch end, you will need to drill a hole in the latch and slot that hole so you can hook the cable in place. Run the cable to the left side cover area and secure it. I also drilled a hole near the latch just to keep the cable running straight.

When you need it, remove the left cover and give the cable a tug.

    Default Well done....

There are several solutions for the stuck of non fuctioning frunk relase and seat release. Well done and always good to see others ideas to help those in need. Different models have variations....
