Default Need Drain plug part # 2015 RTS?

Hello everyone, I need to replace a stripped drain plug on my 2015 RTS, it is the smaller one located on the right side of the bike when seated that only uses a crush washer. It is NOT the engine drain plug that requires 3 o-rings. Local dealership cannot find it listed on there parts locator....
Thank you in advance for your help.

You need to find a new dealership. An even better idea is to switch to a Gold Plug or Dimple plug that has a hex head instead of a 6 mm Allen.

It is odd that part number is listed as no longer available. My best guess is that BRP is in the middle of a part number change. But that does not help you, I know. But your dealer should have called BRP and asked why and explained it to you. There may even be a new part issued and not in the listings yet. Cheap Cycle does still lists it as available. You can order from there if their listing is correct.

It would be very beneficial if BRP switched to a hex head plug.

He got both plugs with a hex head on them. I just ordered a set of them.

This not going to help with stripped threads on the plugs, but for stripped out hex key hole or the torx hole, this is the solution. I am changing both plugs to head off a problem before it catches me. Already had a problem getting hex one out, but I got it out. Neither one of them is going back in. As much as hate to leave it parked for any length of time, the new hex head plugs that a socket will fit are going back in as soon as they get here.
