Without getting down on all fours to look (getting old too, 71) is 1 all the way back or all the way forward.

All the way back is # 1. And YES, #1 is the best setting for me as well. Ride safe FREINDS.

Hi bcraig its all the way back Normal position for 2 wheelers. Regards Nico 75

I find myself in position 1 or 2 as the most comfortable and comparable to the Spyder RS setup. I'd actually like to raise the seat about 2" Then I think the seating position would be perfect for me.

I Like the Pegs All the way forward like my F3 because you have better leg leverage in hard turns.

I got mine all the way forward. Knees don't bend like they once did and leg stretched out a little is more comfortable for longer trips.

I tried position 1 but my legs are too long for the seat height; I look like a grasshopper.

Position #1 is my favorite. More like a motorcycle. cueman

I agree with this - it is a better position for me with long legs!

Although I have floorboards, I decided to change my brake to position #4 on my F3. It made a world of difference! It's crazy how the smallest adjustments can change the whole riding experience.
