Setting clock help needed
I did a search, read and reread the manuel and yes, I still need help. Will some one explain, in simple terms, how to set my clock. I tried and now it reads in military time and I don't even know how I did that. TIA cueman

Look on page 26 of the operators guide for a how-to... You can DL your own copy of it here:
http://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/I...1-f075a2f25d4f
In a nutshell it says to:
To Select Specific Information
Press the LOWER button until the name of the desired information is displayed. Except for SETTINGS, wait 2-3 seconds to select and view the information.
Then:
To enter in the SETTINGS menu, hold the LOWER button 2-3 seconds. NOTE:If no selection is done within 10seconds, the cluster will go out of the SETTINGS menu
To Reset a Value (AVG) Select the value to be reset. Press and hold the LOWER button until the value is reset.
To Modify a Value (Clock) Press the LOWER button to select the information to be modified. When selected, hold the LOWER button to enter in the modification mode. Press LOWER button until the new value is displayed. Wait 2-3 second to accept the change.

I agree that the manual for the Ryker doesn't explain the clock setting very well. It took me a few tries to finally get it right but it can be done. Good luck!

Does the Ryker need to have the engine running to set the clock or just woken up? Thanks, cueman

I think it just needs to wake up but when you're done you need to pull the 'key' off for a few seconds till it shuts off or it will remain on!

I set mine while at a stop light. The process was less-than-intuitive. I'm glad I don't have to worry about DST changing again for several months.

I can tell you what I was doing wrong. I am older than dirt and never played video games much. Have used joysticks, but nothing like the little button to control the settings on the F3S. I was pressing down on the button on the sides where the arrows are marked.
When I stopped pressing down on the button and started pushing the button from the side it all fell in place. Push the button to the left and it controls the functions on the left side of the display. Push the button to the right and it controls the functions on the right side of the display. Click through until it comes to settings, press and hold until it goes through the others to the clock. Then go through that until you get it set. First it stops on 12 / 24 display, then set the hour next, then the minutes. When you finish click on through until it comes to EXIT and let it sit there until it exits. That got mine set. The instructions in the manual are about useless. I just kept messing with it until I figured it out.
