Thank you for your suggestion on the SmoothSpyder backrest you made.
After seeing this post I bought one and I could not be happier with it!

LED heads, fogs and add on driving lights are great safety items on the 18 RTLTD but what made it look really better was the rally check decals from wrap my spyder!

2013 RT-S. Many addons. Most loved, Mustang Seat complete with passenger and drive backrests. Most noticed right away. Baja Ron sway bar. Handling upgrade noticed first time on it. Rivco driver boards and heel/toe shifter adapter and Lamonster Web boards for my 6' frame leg comfort. Some pin striping by Mac the Knife at SpyderQuest makes it a tad prettier. Magic Mirror mounts are just handy. I also added some mirror blinkers to remind me to shut them off on occasion and others can see them at night from behind. I am looking to get some small blindspot mirrors but am having trouble finding something I like and will fit on my mirrors with the blinkers.

    In no particular order:

    Year and Model Spyder/Ryker: 2016 F3-T

Add on / Upgraded item: a) BRP Driver Backrest - bought used here on SL
    b) BajaRon Swaybar - installed by Netzley Tire
    c) Laser Alignment - done by Netzley Tire
    d) Short-Reach Handlebars - Progressive Mototsports

    a) and d) really helped with comfort; b) and c) really improved the ride.

I'v installed a bunch of great farkles, but the best one ever was when I invented the Seal Floorboard in 2009. I've had 3 Spyder's, a RS SE5 and 2 RT SE5's. My Seals have added great comfort and design to all three. I have 3 sets of RT SE5 and 2 sets of RS SE5 left. When they are gone, they are gone.

Hi, I just had them installed. I know everyone is different, but what setting helped you compared to stock?

For myself, I have them set as far back as possible and set high enough that they do not interfere with my legs...now with all that said, every persons size and seating position is unique to them, and you have to determine your own “setting”....not someone elses.

Thanks, just wanted a starting point because the stock bars would hurt after a longer ride.
