Default Who changes their own tires?

I do, on all my scooters past and present.
Changed the rear on my Piaggio MP3 500 last weekend.
And changed the fronts on my Spyder today.
Pretty much like a scooter tire just a little bigger.
No more difficult for being larger, not any less so either.
One interesting (to me) thing: my Marc Parnes balancer kit, using one MP3 cone and one for my Vespa GTS, worked just right.
All set to go up front for a few years, I'm thinking.
Verdestein Quatrac 165/65/R14 by the way.
Ride-On ordered and will squirt in when it arrives. Yes, I static balance, AND use RideOn.

I just got done changing mine. Used a Cycle Hill machine and Marc Parnes balancer. He had to make a set of cones to match the new front wheels on the Spyder, but as soon as I pull the rear and report back to him it should be good to go.

I static balanced and am using the Centramatics. Pulling the rear to mount the last one. This RTL should be smooth as glass after that.

Vredestein 175/55R15 fronts, 205/60R15 rear. All wrangled on by hand.

Wow, that's some serious equipment there!
Here I was all happy with my tire levers and soapy water.

Never met a tool I did not like.

I have been accused of operating the Spyder shop for the sole purpose of buying tools.....

Be glad they shipped you one with a wheel clamp that actually worked. One of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

I buy a 6 pack and have a buddy with a tire machine and balancer. I provide moral support and enjoy a beverage with him. I call his shop, my other garage.
