Air filters, cvt belt prices
By the end of the summer I will probably have enough miles on my Acer 900 to replace the filters and belt. I have been pricing the filters and not the belt yet. The filters I have seen are priced very high in my opinion. Anyone find any good deals on them? I have not got a belt size yet to look for it yet. Any help is much appreciated.

I replaced the air filter with a K&N when I first got the bike and put the original filter back to replace the belt side filter when it eventually needs changing.

Little checking.....
Air filters would depend on what you get in OEM or the aftermarket type....I use K&N as for the belt ... cheapcycleparts.com has the OEM belt at $209.99 which should be less than the dealer but don't know if there are aftermarket brands out there. With all the other vehicles out there using this type of trans I would think there are....

What belt is it? And how often should it be changed per maintenance schedule?

This filter fits both the engine intake and CVT it is only half the cost of the OEM. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KIPSP8G...v_ov_lig_dp_it

The belt is the same one used on the 850 ski-doo. They run about $150. I think the manual says 12,000 miles for the belt replacement.

Replacement of belt, if any thing like a snowmobile or atv, it should be at the top or just above sides on the driven clutch. I have had sowmobiles and atvs for years. I replace belts when, at idle are running below top edge of driven clutch. Snowmobiles and atv clutches in my humble opion work alot harder than the Ryker ever will. I would think belts for the Ryker should last under normal use for at least 3 to 4 years. Belts are very durable today. Just my opinion. Bruce

Thanks for help guys, I bookmarked the filter, a price I can live with and will buy several. I think 12,000 is a little soon for a belt also but would like one one hand. I pit a lot of miles on my Ryker, I hardly drive my car anymore except to by groceries.
