Test drove a 900 today.
Stopped a dealer today and they had a 900, with a comfort seat for both driver and passenger. Drivers comfort seat was comfy, I thought the passenger seat was quite firm. Had the wind shield also. Went inside and started chatting with salesman. He asked me if I would like to try it out. I said sure. I compare the Ryker to a snappy sports car. I did not find it twitchy at all. Suspension is alot stiffer than my RTS. Power delivery is very snappy. From 40 to 80 mph it was very quick. I see why it puts a big grin on your face. I think it has a tighter turning radius. I really enjoyed the ryde. In the end I still like my RTS better. If I was to buy one I would need a larger windshield, hand guards and some sort of cruise control. Maybe I will have one nexy year.
I saw a new (holdover) STS in their inventory. I asked what they would sell it for, they want 15,500 for it. I think that is alittle high but I don't know. Bruce

Is it true that the "recurve" deflects more airflow away/around/above(?) the rider?

Fun day....
Thanks for the review on your test ryde. Kinda confirms the whole idea of the Ryker as a fun speedster for the weekend spin in the hills or around town. Many mods out there now and in the works to try and make it a touring vehicle but much like a sports bike it will never be a touring ryde for the regular ryders. There will be the die hards that will tour.
