Genius Map route not visible on 2018 RTL
A fellow 2018 owner is having problems seeing the highlighted route on the dash. She is using an iPhone 10x. Has latest dash update, phone is up to date, the dealer (Horns Outdoor, Bethel PA) doesn't know much and is now telling her BRP will refund the Genius fees and is telling her to try Sygic.
Don't think it will work any better but we'll see.
Anyone near Bethel that could help her out? I'm in California.

I've heard about this somewhere else, check auto brightness in dash settings and place on middle or lower to suit. Too high and cant see roads etc. Does it work?

Wow, since my display is fine I don't even think of the brightness. Hope it work. Thanks!

Airborne, that would be Shawn Smoak. Yeah, he’s got quite a few videos posted on YouTube. He’s the service foreman at Pro Caliber in Vancouver Washington.

Yep that's him, had the same issue on there that fixed by adjusting the brightness. Thanks BigBlock.

Figured it out. When you open a new app in the bike's dash you need to allow the bike/app to connect to the phone. So you plug the phone to the bike, turn the bike on and wait for it to load. Change to the BRP Connect and open the app (like Genius Maps) and then check the phone for a popup and click "Allow". Then you will see what you want in the dash.
For some of us it's simple and for others it can be complicated and trying to help figure something like this out means looking into even the simplest parts of it to see what they're doing wrong that others find easy.
