Default Easy bracket and saddlebag question

Looking for some feedback. Thinking of adding an easy bracket and saddlebags to F3-S. Not sure yet on the saddlebag type/make but trying to stay with less expensive ones that are either leather or fabric. Trying to stay around $300 total for the bracket and bags. Open to suggestions if you have them! I noticed the easy bracket lists a weight restriction of 15 pounds. Some of the saddlebags I have looked at weigh up to 10 - 13 pounds. What experience does everyone have with the easy brackets and weights? How about suggestions or tips for mounting the fabric/leather type bags on the easy brackets? Thanks in advance to any and all feedback!

I have the Shad set-up and they are great. More expensive yes but no problems with the tearing or leaking. I didn’t care for the cross country ones & haven't had or see any others.
    It really is a sickness!

Thanks JS. I am surprised there has not been more feedback on my question. I was hoping for more!

I had/have the easy brackets with soft bags and really like them as when those brackets are off there is nothing to be seen on the bike. I wouldnt worry too much about weight restrictions you can easily go over as they are heavy duty.

I have the same setup on my 2015 F3. They are "Leatherworks" bags on Easy Brackets. The side that mounts to the Easy Brackets are hard side (leather covered metal). To the original poster: You need a hard side bag to mount to the Easy Brackets. I was unaware of any weight restriction with Easy Brackets. Haven't had a problem.

Dave & John - thanks for the feedback. Both very helpful.
Don - thank you as well. I sent you a PM with a couple other questions.
