    Default CalSci Windshield questions

I am looking at the CalSci windshield for my 600 with stock suspension. I currently use a modified HD windshield attached to the OEM adjustable mount. The top of the windshield is 53.5 inches from the ground. The instructions at the CalSci site doesn't show dimension for height from ground up and only include instruction for determining size for someone looking over the windshield. I prefer to look through the windshield.

Can anyone with the CalSci windshield tell me the size they have and the height of the top of the shield above the ground?

    Thanks

I bought 2 600's in mid April and had CalSci windshields installed on both by the dealer. ( Photo attached) The top of the windshield on both is 54 1/2". I am 5'9" and my eyes are about 3 to 4 inches from the top of the windshield. CalSci is local and I believe they are in Oak Grove, Missouri. The dealer also told me that they will custom make your windshield. I would contact CalSci and discuss it with them.DSC00352.jpgDSC00352.jpg

What size windshield did you have installed? M, L or XL?

I have no idea. There was a 900 on the floor with the windshield and it was the size that we wanted and I told the salesman that I will take 2.

The stock windshield is small but it does offer pretty good protection. I will keep it for a while and see how it goes. It would be nice if someone offered a replacement that used the stock bracket. Maybe something a little wider would definitely help.
