But... don't need clutch problems. Changing oil today and using BRP synth blend 4T and carrying an extra quart along. If I need more... well let the hunting for a Canandian Spyder dealership commence. My Spyder is a 2010 RS ... anyone with one of these "classics" ... what oils are you using that makes the clutch happy?
So is it an SE or an M? Anyway the Amsoil 10W40 Full Synthetic Metric Motorcycle oil works well with Spyder clutches.

SM5 ... but sometimes amsoil on the road is hard to come by too. Exploring Ontario this trip... so a few BRP dealers on the map there. Have used amsoil in my harleys and had good success. It is a great product line. Last year cut off in Deadwood SD (1200 miles into a trip) on my Ultra Classic, broken femur and ankle, mini-vanned back to WI. My leg is still not fully back strength-wise ... so onto 3 wheels I go this season for the long ride.

If you take a quart with you, if you use more than a quart you could top off with any oil that meets specs. If you use more than a Quart in 3,500 you have a problem.

Oil plugs underneath the engine are no problem.
2 of the 3 filter bolts or painless. One of the 3 will require a longer tool to get to it. But over all much much easier than my previous Spyder ST Limited.
Takes exactly one gallon of oil to refill.
