P0172 on my pre-2017 Spydercodes comes up as: ECM; System too rich Bank 1. Injection & fuel supply system. Check fuel pressure regulator.

Not too sure if that code reading will be correct for a 2018 1330, maybe someone else can confirm? Not gonna be able to help much on what'd be causing it, either..... a vacuum hose/s maybe? Have you been working on the Spyder somewhere/anywhere lately? Is there anything like a hose or wire obviously not connected that you can see on/around the engine? Why something like this'd come up after starting & running well for a while is a bit odd, but since I've spent a whooole lot more time troubleshooting diesel engines for quite a while now, I'm largely just flailing around in the dark when it comes to Spyder engines?!

    Good Luck!

Well Peter it was all my fault, imagine that, I topped off the fuel tank for a long ride with the boys and fuel got into the evap canister. My local
Can Am fellas hooked her up to the heart monitor reset the code and all is well. Do not overfill your tank.
The F3 is a very fun machine to ride and I will keep it for a long time.

Topping off tanks is Not worth the possible problems of overfilling!

From what I know of the 1330 engine and related systems….. I don't think it's possible to flood the EVAP canister …. BRP routed the tubes so it couldn't happen - UN-like on the V-twin engine …… Mike

You may not be able to flood it per se but after a "spillover" event into it, there will be too much residual fuel in it still when the engine starts. It will get "purged" into the engine and trigger a "rich" condition.... Even if it is only a "temporary" condition, it just has to last long enough to trigger the event.
