Hi,
When things calm down, take a spyder ride and enjoy even if is raining or the sunny.

Have been out, it's been great. Had enough of the rain for a while though.

Definitely stay on your toes. In the past week, there have been 4 bike fatalities in this area (Raleigh, NC). I tend to pick my times and places to ride. All in an effort to avoid the congested traffic, where people are on their cell phones and what not. Keep on the lookout for the unexpected.

I haven't been riding yet, because of working, and it has been raining here way to much, we need a stretch of sunny warm weather. I have had enough of the rain for a long time. We have had cool weather here, but every so often we get a nice day here and there.

Yea, definitely watch out for the unexpected. Just this week in ( Brandon, VT.) there were was a motorcycle crash involving 4 motorcycles ( 2 wheels) the 4 motorcyclist are recovering from the crash, they were traveling in a group, and one of them lost control because of loose material on the road, which caused a domino effect.
Just be safe out there, and watch for the unexpected.

I am looking forward to my first ride in Arkansas...hopefully less than a month now. I think I am going to like riding in the Ozarks. The country is beautiful there. I am just a couple miles from a couple of AR most scenic roads (according to the AR motorcycle riding guide).

I took my Spyder out of the winter storage on 1 May and took a longer trip. What a feeling. I would have forgotten over the winter months, how fast the bike accelerates - wow. It's raining right now, but next week it'll be sunny. I wish everyone an exciting and accident-free season.

I rode my spyder yesterday did some errands. Dropped off the some stuff, and headed out again.
Went and got some supper.

The season will be ending here in the Phoenix area in a month or so unless you enjoy riding in 110 degree heat. It seems to end in June and not start up again until late September.

Send some of the heat to the North East! We have had a lot of rain, cool, the temps highs in the 50's and 60's. Usually we get 60's to 70's this time of the year. Deanna

Unusually cold and wet here in NW Iowa. Talked with a farmer yesterday and he was hoping he could get crops in, because it has been so wet and cold.

Today the temps are in the 40's BURRRRRRR!!!!!!!! we have had a lot of rain. Also in the higher elevations there was snow. It has been unusual
cold spring this year.
Usually the temps are in the 60's & 70's. I have not been on the spyder that much due to the weather, and job.

For the hardcore rider, invest in an electric jacket liner and gloves, and maybe a balaclava for under your helmet. I've been out in the low 20's on the goldwing and didn't even set the jacket temp all the way up. CycleGear's stuff is the best value for the money.

I have a heated jacket, which i use when riding the sled.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Got the new tire on the rear of the Spyder. I had to do it twice as my trusty tire shop failed me. The first time I brought it home it wouldn't hold air. So back to the shop. I think I am getting too old to do this myself anymore. I think I will have the dealer do the next one. It has been rainy and cold here even got hail/freezing rain today, but I was still able get the tire mounted between storms. I will say that it is pretty and green here very green.

Sorry guys I've put over 4000 miles since April. Did 300 this past Tuesday and was home by 3:00pm. Starting to get hot here so I ride early in the day. The 90 plus and 90% humidity gets tough to ride in. Ride when you can and be safe.

Hi guys and gals
Let me see - ah yes.
Riding season starts on 1st January and finishes on 31st December.
Here in the land down under we can ride all year. Queensland is even better. 99% of the state does not get below 0 deg C.
Happy spydering
