    Default "Tool Kit" location?

OK, so it is just a screw driver. I WANT my screwdriver! Is it hidden somewhere or did my dealer forget to put it in? Maybe they are selling them to cover the cost of freight and set-up ($0.00 at my dealer.)

Head to your local Dollar store and pick one up. They are about the same quality.

Nice! The shock tool is almost a given, no idea how they expect us to adjust the shocks on a Rally without it. I found one in my tool box that works after a fashion, just lots of patience. As for going to the $Store, I don't need the tool, have MANY screw drivers. It is just the idea that it was not in/on the bike!

It was handed to me by the service manager who removed it from a folder for another Ryker. He had used the spanner from the kit to adjust the rear shock after adding my passenger seat. He showed me the spanner and told me that's what I would use from my tool kit. I told him I didn't have a tool kit with mine, so he handed me the one he was using and told the counter rep to order another one for the other Ryker. So I'm guessing dealers may be withholding them.

It's not BRP, it's your dealer. The picture shows the part number that needs ordered.

The tool kit looks hopeless for a Ryker but might be helpful for an ATV type unit. No Torx wrenches for example...

It might be an optional accessory. But if the dealer is stripping OEM equipment off of a new machine and selling separately? Seriously? If so, I would definitely think BRP would want to know abut that.

It's a basic worthless tool kit anyway and is for an ATV

All I want is the shock 'wrench'. I have at least five from other old bikes but only one works and then marginally. I've tried that part number with no luck (and I don't want the whole kit anyway!) Where does one find a source, short of a dealer, for Ryker/Spyder tools? The BRP website is no good for tools.

You might not want to do that if you have a stock seat because our dealer said the stock seat can't be reinstalled without doing it the hard way (separating the top part of the frame I believe) since it's tabs are different than the comfort seat which will just pop back on I believe. Our Spyder RT has it under the seat, which makes sense for that since that is easily accessible on those.

    There's nothing under the seat...

FWIW, you can easily reinstall the Ryker stock seat without lifting the upper frame assembly. You just need to remove the 2 torx bolts that fasten the plastic body section to the frame (near the back). Then, lift up and wedge something in between the plastic and the frame. With the plastic elevated slightly, there's just enough space to reinsert the foam tabs.
