Shipping a Spyder to Ireland...NOT!!
I was thinking of flying my Spyder to Ireland. It would be terrific ryding on those roads. I figured, if it cost about the same as I would pay to rent a car there, it would be worth it. Well...NO WAY! The lowest quote I got was $3500 one way. DAMN...I could almost buy another Spyder for two round trips! No I'm looking into the posasibility of renting one there but I've been unsuccessful in finding a dealer even though BRP says they are sold in Ireland.
In order to find his equal, an Irishman is forced to talk to God. God looked down upon Ireland and said "Damn, I'm good!"

Rent a Sea Doo from the N.J. go Trans Atlantic, by the time you get to Ireland, 3 weeks later you'll be world famous, and BRP will give you a Irish Spyder to use upon arrival.

As accessorized as your Spyder is I figured you would have floatation devices on it and we all know your not afraid of long rides.

Check with the some of the frieght forewarding compaines. They will ship it on a container for a hell of a lot less. You can either ride it onto a container or stap it to a pallet.Use to get bikes shiped from Puerto Rico for a hundred bucks to Jacksonville,Fl.

You can have the best of both worlds, check out this youtube of Yamaha 4x4 wave runner
Wish it was real, no need for a jet ski trailer.

They're not very reliable for timing, esp. if you're on a trip timeline...
It's not worth it to try to ship a Spyder to Ireland or anywhere else for that matter...unless you have a house there and will leave it permanently....well, in Ireland, you could get a castle!

My lazy sentiment would be...I own one..why pay a lot of money to ride one around for a few days?...waste of money, IMHO...

Because I usually go for 3-4 weeks and, if I can ryde a Spyder for about the same as I can rent a car. Why not? To each his own, mate
