Looking for that billet aluminum vented gas tank cap I saw on here a few weeks ago. Are they available yet?

I used to install them as a vendor .... I found the Ford F-150 ( 96 to 2007 ) to work best ..... I bought all mine on E-bay ... about $30.00 .......... DO NOT get one for any type JEEP, they won't work ..... Also make sure the Billet one is a complete unit , and not just a cover for the OEM one ...... " Pegasus " posted a link to my install info on another recent thread about this issue ..... Mike

Default Billet aluminum gas tank cap

Sorry for the confusion gang, I was looking for the billet aluminum cap/plug for a Ryker rather than a Spyder. Appreciate any responses. Cheers!

The Ryker doesn't have a gas cap

Where would you intend to put it? The Ryker has a self sealing fuel filler neck like on a car.

That would be quite a modification for little purpose.

Markubis, I realize this has a self sealing tank like a Ford pickup, I was looking for the aluminum plug I saw on the other Ryker forum to keep dust/dirt out. Cheers!

Thanks Bob204bc, I realize it has a self sealing neck like a Ford Pickup. I was wanting the aluminum vented plug I saw on the other Ryker forum to keep out dust/dirt. It's pretty dusty down here in the desert. Thanks!

********* is making a big aluminum one. I expect that they'll want at least $75 for it.

I put a bolt with a wingnut through a lid from a jar of peanuts. I use that to cover the opening on mine.
It gets a bit dusty in my neighborhood and I think it'll help keep out most dust and debris.

I never heard of such a thing. It sounds like a good idea.

Just put any kind of recycled metal cap of some/any sort that fits is all you need. No need to put some expensive, "custom made" item on! - hello?! That's all I did!

Has this been an issue of getting dust or dirt in the gas tank? My Ford F-150 has a capless fuel filler and I never see dirt or dust or snow or ice or anything else. cueman
