Ryker won't start when tire pressure is low
So I wonder, is there a tire pressure monitor and a good electric tire pump out there?

Nice video RH. Although I don't ryde a Ryker, I viewed to see if there was any info in it that might apply to my bike and I think there was. Thanks.
Re electric tire pumps; go to auto supply stores and you will see there are a few that come as tire repair kits, so you can pick and choose what pleases you.

Don't have one.....
I do not see a sensor for tire pressure could only be a balance thing but more the electronics that he mentioned. The only code or warning is the VSS which is basically a angle issue. I have set that off many times and it clears and on we ryde. Having a pump is not a bad Idea and there are many you can google I carry a mushroom plug kit with c02 cartrages....

MCM just did a comparison of small compressors and gave the highest marks to the Cyclepump from Bestrest products. Not cheap at $115, but does come with a lifetime warranty.

Just a coincidence.
Could not be a "balance thing". Other wise you could not start it if you are parked on a hill!

I made my own 12 volt pump using a cheapie $6 Harbor Freight one. I removed the plastic casing and added a sheet aluminum base. I store it in a camera case along with a tire repair kit. It's all very compact.

This guy has done a few video's. In his early videos he admits he has no motorcycle experience what so ever. But now he appears to be an expert. So, just because you saw it on the internet doesn't mean squat. If it were my Ryker, and knowing bikes the way I do, the first thing I would have done is disconnect the battery, let it set a while and reconnect. Probably all the dealer did anyway.

Hey RH. While a portable tire pump is always a nice thing to have along, I think you’ve misinterpreted the video. It had electronics issues that were rectified. As a side conversation, the dealer discussed sensitivity of these machines to tire pressures. We all know that’s true from a handling standpoint. But he never said that the failure to start was due to low tire pressure, or all they had to do was air up the tires.

Your typical self-appointed Internet expert.
Instant fame.
But if he posts many other absurd things like this (won't start BECAUSE the tires are low) he will just a quickly go down in flames too.

I saw this thread and had to comment. I too have seen videos posted by this guy. I have commented on a few of his. His replies are a clear indication of his lack of experience and knowledge. Just goes to show you that anyone can be an expert on social media.
As far as a compressor is concerned, there are many out there and threads here to guide one. I carry both a compressor and a tire plug kit, just in case.

If it does it's job, then you end up with a hole in the tire that is plugged only with some of that "goop" and you probably don't even know it.
I don't like what might happen next.
